Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Dorsey, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM until production is complete
Pay: $18–$20/hour, based on experience
Similar Positions: Construction Laborer, Concrete Laborer, General Laborer, Form SetterJob Summary We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Concrete Form Laborer to join our team in Dorsey, IL. This is a hands-on position responsible for setting, assembling, aligning, and removing forms used in concrete production. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, comfortable with physical work, and takes pride in doing quality work. Previous construction, concrete, carpentry, or manufacturing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Set, assemble, align, and secure forms for concrete production
- Measure and position forms according to production requirements
- Prepare materials and work areas for concrete pours
- Strip and remove forms after concrete has cured
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and properly
- Follow production specifications and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Assist with other concrete, form-setting, and production duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous construction, concrete, carpentry, form-setting, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
- Comfortable working with hand and power toolsAbility to perform physical work throughout the shift, including standing, bending, lifting, reaching, and working with toolsAbility to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Safety-conscious and dependable
- Willingness to learn and take direction
