Nursing - Registered Nurse, Operating Room - Travel

Job Description: The Operating Room RN will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety in the operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities: Perform pre-operative assessments and preparations for surgical patients. Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures, ensuring aseptic techniques are upheld. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgical process. Provide post-operative care and ensure proper recovery protocols are followed. Maintain and manage surgical instruments and equipment effectively. Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-operative care.

Qualifications: Current RN license is required. BLS and ACLS certifications required, American Heart Association (AHA) only. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room is required. Experience in General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotics, Orthopedics, and GYN procedures is preferred. Work Schedule Day shifts: 4x8-hour shifts (06:30 AM - 03:00 PM) No scheduled weekends; weekend call required (currently 1 in 4). Holidays as needed.
