Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer in Attleboro, MA to fill a Calibration Technician on 1st shift. This is a direct hire position and the hours will be 7AM-3:30 PM M-F with a pay range of $55,000-$75,000 depending on skills and experience.
Position Summary: The Industrial Calibrator is responsible for maintaining, testing and repairing a variety of electrical instrumentation and equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Calibrate, maintain and repair electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment used in the manufacturing of clad metal strip products.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair operating systems as necessary
  • Observe, monitor and record if necessary status of utility equipment
  • Make routine, periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.
  • Assist operators in routine maintenance procedures.
  • Maintains records of scheduled and emergency maintenance procedures.
  • Performs a variety of work in the maintenance.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping in work areas.
  • Other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
  • High School/Trade School 3-5 years of related experience
  • Electrician license preferred
  • Shop math
  • Must be capable of understanding basic electronics, reading prints, and work instruction, calibrating units from test procedures
Physical Demands: Some heavy lifting and considerable moving of equipment may be required. May be required to drive fork truck, climb ladders, and work in small areas.
