About the role
Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a leading safety products distributor to identify a Customer Success Team Manager to lead its customer success team at its Lanham, MD corporate office. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a background in distribution who enjoys developing a team while staying involved in day-to-day customer and order operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Success Representatives, managing daily priorities, workload, and performance.
Oversee customer inquiries, product sourcing, quotes, orders, and supplier coordination.
Partner with sales and internal departments to resolve order issues and ensure timely customer follow-up.
Monitor team performance, maintain service standards, and identify opportunities to improve processes.
Qualifications:
Experience managing a customer success, inside sales support, or customer operations team within a distribution environment.
Strong understanding of quoting, order processing, supplier coordination, and order fulfillment.
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft 365.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work onsite in Lanham, MD.
