Job TitleThis is a temp to perm position. Once converted to perm you will be eligible for the company's full benefits package.
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Must be able to successfully pass a background check, drug test and driver's report check.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform any combinations of tasks pertinent to controlling operations of the wastewater treatment plant
  • Operates pumps, engines, and generators to control and adjust flow and processing of influent and effluent, sludge
  • Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels
  • Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings
  • Operates valves and gates either manually or by remote control
  • Takes samples and performs laboratory tests and analyses
  • Performs routine maintenance functions and custodial duties
Qualifications:
  • Operates, performs minor repairs, and maintains the wastewater treatment plant facility
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • A minimum of two years of experience in operating wastewater treatment plants
  • Level II certification in Wastewater Preferred Qualifications
Basic familiarity of the principles and practices of wastewater treatment plant operations, operating principles of valves, pumps, and motors, principles and methods of bacteriological and chemical wastewater analyses, effects and problems of industrial waste in water treatment processes, principles of supervision and training, and safe work practices Ability to respond to pages in a timely manner as requested by management.
