Home Dcor Sales Associate (Full-Time and Part-Time) American Plant is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our Home Dcor Department. This role is best suited for individuals with prior retail sales or merchandising experience who enjoy helping customers and working in a fast-paced retail environment. If you enjoy home dcor, visual merchandising, and working directly with customers, we would love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist customers with home dcor selections and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain attractive, well-organized merchandise displays
  • Stock, price, and tag dcor merchandise
  • Help maintain a clean and welcoming sales floor
  • Support the department team with daily retail operations
  • Operate the POS system and process transactions when needed
Requirements:
  • Previous retail sales or merchandising experience required
  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers
  • Interest in home dcor, styling, or interior design preferred
  • Must be able to work at least one weekend day each week
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a busy retail environment
