Key Eligibility Criteria
Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of commercial legal experience; 10+ years of commercial lending experience is preferred.
Specialization: Proven experience in production agriculture and food/agribusiness lending. Responsibilities & Scope of WorkDraft, review, and negotiate complex commercial loan documentation. Provide business-focused recommendations to mitigate legal and regulatory risks. Manage outside counsel engagements and act as a liaison for senior leadership.
