About the role
Leading the design and development of manufacturing fixtures and tooling solutions, the full-time Senior Fixture Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust designs that support new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of various manufacturing fixtures, ensuring they meet product and process requirements
Create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and design documentation while validating fixture designs for manufacturability and reliability
Coordinate with global engineering teams and suppliers to manage tooling projects from concept through production launch
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline
7+ years of experience in fixture design, tooling design, or manufacturing engineering
Strong proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works and AutoCAD
Experience with GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and creating fabrication and assembly drawings
Knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes
