Medical Director / Inpatient Psychiatrist - Biloxi, MS

Location: Biloxi, MS We are seeking an experiencedPsychiatristto serve asMedical Directorfor an established inpatient behavioral health program inBiloxi, Mississippi. This opportunity is based within a55-bed psychiatric hospitalproviding inpatient behavioral health services across a broad patient population, fromadolescents through geriatric adults. The Medical Director will combine direct patient care with clinical leadership and oversight of the psychiatric program.

Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans Manage psychiatric medications and monitor patient response to treatment Provide clinical leadership and medical oversight for the psychiatric program Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other behavioral health professionals Provide clinical guidance and oversight to members of the treatment team Participate in treatment planning and discharge planning Support development and implementation of clinical policies and standards Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and performance initiatives Collaborate with facility leadership regarding clinical operations and patient care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
