Job Description NOW HIRING - Experienced Licensed Plumber Salina, KSOur client is looking for an experienced, licensed plumber with a strong commercial plumbing background to join their team. We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a job from start to finish - reading blueprints, coordinating work in the field, leading a crew when needed, solving problems as they arise, and keeping projects moving with minimal oversight. What we're looking for:
- Current plumbing license required
- Commercial plumbing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
- Ability to take ownership of a job and help carry it from start to finish
- Experience leading or directing a crew in the field
- Strong troubleshooting and real-time problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal oversight
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license required
- Physical ability to lift materials and work in commercial and industrial environments
What you'll do:
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems and fixtures
- Work from blueprints, layouts, and project specifications
- Coordinate day-to-day work in the field and help keep projects on schedule
- Provide direction to crew members and coordinate work as needed
- Identify and solve field issues as they arise
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to code
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
- Maintain tools, equipment, and organized job sites
- Document work performed and materials used
- Take ownership of quality workmanship from the beginning of a project through completion
