Job Description:
Acu Spec Inc is a precision machining job shop with over 20 years of machining operations in the Silicon Valley. Backed by our owner's experience of 45 years in the machining industry, we are a leader in medical device manufacturing. Our core group of 20 employees work diligently to maintain a high level of quality and dependability our customers have to value. We are a ISO 9001:2015 certified company and are looking to add a Journeyman CNC Programmer and Machinist to our team.
Core Responsibilities:
. Programmer for CNC Mill and Horizontal machining centers. Perform machine set-up and initial proofing out of programs. Create Fixture layouts and predesign planning. Work directly with Operations Manager to execute timely build schedules
Required Qualifications:
. 5+ years experience in machining industry as setup machinist. 5+ years experience programming prefer experience using Fusion 360, Solidworks, and/or CAMWorks. Candidate will be required to demonstrate competency
Skills and Abilities:
. Self starter and able to work independently with little supervison. Familiar with high speed machining principles. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills that allow individual to work well in a team environment
