Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Financial Advisor role based in Melville, NY. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to assess their financial goals, evaluate current financial situations, and develop comprehensive financial plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing investment options, designing retirement strategies, and recommending appropriate financial products and services. The role involves preparing and presenting financial plans, monitoring client portfolios, and adjusting strategies in response to market changes or life events. The Financial Advisor will also maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory requirements, and collaborate with internal team members to deliver a high standard of client service.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills, including the ability to develop and explain comprehensive financial strategies.
Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills, with experience in portfolio construction, risk management, and market analysis.
Candidates should possess Retirement Planning skills, including designing income strategies and evaluating tax-efficient retirement options.
Relevant licenses or certifications (such as CFP®, Series 7/66, or equivalent) are highly beneficial, along with familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and present complex information clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred, and prior experience in a client-facing advisory or financial services role is advantageous.
