Oxford Strategic Legal Advisors is looking for a Junior Consulting Analyst to join our rapidly growing team. This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates must reside in the United States. The Junior Consulting Analyst will work alongside senior members of the Oxford team across client engagements involving financial analysis, strategy, operations, and law firm M&A. This role is a strong entry point into consulting and offers meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to senior advisors and clients, and the opportunity to work on complex issues facing leading law firms. What you’ll work on: Build and analyze financial models, including profitability, compensation, and scenario analyses Collect, validate, and interpret financial and operational data Analyze law firm economics, performance, and business trends Research and evaluate potential merger and strategic growth opportunities Support business-process and organizational reviews Turn complex analysis into clear client presentations, reports, and recommendations Support project management, research, and client deliverables
What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited university, in finance, accounting, economics, business, statistics, data science, business analytics, or a related field Strong Excel and financial modeling skills Working knowledge of financial statements, accounting, corporate finance, and business performance Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Excellent written and verbal communication High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to reviewing work Sound judgment and discretion when working with confidential information Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with a team Experience with Python, SQL, Power Query, Power BI, data analytics, or professional services is a plus. We expect this role to be a strong fit for candidates with one to two years of relevant experience, but exceptional recent graduates with strong internships, financial modeling experience, or applied analytical work are encouraged to apply. A graduate degree or professional certification is not required.
Compensation: $60,000–$80,000, based on experience
