Traveling Industrial Assembler

Pay: $32.00/HR + Per Diem 50+ Hours/Week Travel Expenses Covered Hotel Provided 3-6 Month Assignments

Position Summary: Flex Trades is seeking experienced Traveling Industrial Assemblers for long-term manufacturing projects throughout the United States. Assemblers will build and install industrial machinery, equipment, and production systems from blueprints, mechanical drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs).This position is ideal for candidates with experience in machine building, mechanical assembly, maintenance, equipment installation, conveyor assembly, or industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities: Assemble industrial machinery and production equipment from blueprints and BOMs. Install and align:- Motors Pumps Bearings Shafts Gears Gearboxes Chains Sprockets Air cylinders Brackets Rollers Mechanical drives Perform complete machine builds and equipment assembly. Interpret mechanical drawings and engineering prints. Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, measuring devices, and power tools. Verify fit-up, alignment, dimensions, and assembly quality. Troubleshoot assembly issues and make mechanical adjustments. Maintain safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications: 2+ years of industrial assembly, machine building, mechanical assembly, maintenance, or related manufacturing experience. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and assembly drawings. Experience working from Bills of Material (BOMs).Strong mechanical aptitude. Experience with hand and power tools. Ability to travel nationwide for project assignments.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working at heights from ladders, lifts, platforms, and catwalks. Comfortable working around large industrial equipment and machinery.
