About the role
Seeking a Mechanical Integrity Engineer - Gas Turbine Structures, this hybrid position in Cincinnati, OH will perform structural analysis and substantiation work for gas turbine engine components, utilizing finite element analysis and CAE tools to support design decisions and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Perform structural and mechanical integrity analysis for gas turbine engine components
Utilize finite element analysis and hand calculations to support design decisions and customer requirements
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to communicate analysis findings and provide technical recommendations
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
2+ years of experience in gas turbine structural analysis or related aerospace structures work
Strong understanding of low-cycle fatigue, fracture mechanics, and durability principles
Experience with CAE tools such as ANSYS, Siemens Simcenter, Nastran/Patran, or ABAQUS
U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work
