About the role
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble composite materials and components ranging from simple to complex subassemblies.
Assemble armor panel components according to work orders, templates, shop instructions, and illustrations.
Use hand tools and pneumatic/electric power tools for:
Cutting:
- TrimmingGrindingDrilling and other mechanical processes as required
- Apply and mix release agents, sealants, solvents, adhesives, and resins on a daily basis.
- Perform bonding, cutting, and grinding of foam, plastics, laminated materials, and other composite materials.
- Support aircraft seat cushion component assembly using established manufacturing processes.
- Use measuring instruments, scales, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.
- Read and follow work instructions and work-order-specific requirements.
- Maintain accuracy and quality while meeting production timelines.
- Work efficiently in a moderate-to-fast-paced, repetitive production environment.
- Adapt to different projects and manufacturing assignments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a production assembly environment, technical schooling in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education.
