Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our well-established clinical practice in Ashland, Kentucky. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and facial structures.
Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and corrective jaw surgery.
Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Collaborate with referring dentists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Eligible for OMSNIC malpractice insurance.
Active state dental license or eligibility to obtain one.
DEA certification or willingness to obtain during credentialing.
