Job Summary: Purpose or Role of the Position To assist Admissions Coordinator of Communications and Marketing with Marketing Materials, Communications based Outreach, and Social Media Management.
Responsibilities: Creating and brainstorming content for Admissions social media platforms; Assisting with short-form video, Reels, photos, and other digital content; Capturing content at campus events, tours, and student activities; Helping identify trends and content ideas that resonate with prospective students; Providing a current student perspective on Admissions messaging and recruitment efforts; Occasionally appearing in social media content when comfortable.
Required Qualifications: Current Columbus State University student; Interest in social media, communication, marketing, public relations, digital media, or content creation; Creative, dependable, and comfortable working collaboratively; Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter; Strong communication skills; Communication majors are encouraged to apply, but the opportunity is open to students from any major.
