About the role

A high-volume industrial manufacturing organization is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to oversee site operations in a production environment. This person will be tasked with leading and optimizing all EHS programs while ensuring strong regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. The role will partner closely with plant leadership and external stakeholders to strengthen safety performance and reduce risk. It presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced EHS leader to drive meaningful change and influence culture in a complex facility.
The Role: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of site-wide EHS programs, policies, and procedures Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, managing inspections, communications, and compliance requirements Oversee incident investigations, audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans to reduce workplace risk Drive employee engagement through training initiatives, safety committees, and cross-functional collaboration Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and continuous improvement goals The Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience managing EHS programs within industrial or manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant regulatory frameworks, along with experience in environmental permitting Proven leadership ability with experience influencing teams and driving a proactive safety culture Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO standards)
