About the role
The Microbiology Processor at Multi Care Tacoma General Hospital is responsible for receipt, processing and storage of specimens, including centrifugation, separation, refrigeration, labeling, making and staining smears, and plating to culture media. This staff-level role operates under direct supervision within routine laboratory functions focusing on accuracy and customer service.
Requirements include college biology, microbiology and/or cell biology courses; Medical Lab Tech (MLT) preferred.
