About the role
The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) must have a successful track record of growing revenue and leading a sales team to exceptional heights. The successful candidate will be expected to lead and implement innovative initiatives to attain and exceed overall revenue goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Senior manager in charge of sales activities and personnel involved in sales.
- Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department.
- Report to the Chief Executive Officer.
- Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
- Establish performance goals for sales team within your pillar & monitors performance.
- Development of the strategic sales plan.
- Direct sales pillar to achieve objectives established in the company’s strategic plan.
- Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all customers.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors’ degree in a business-related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales management with proven track record.
- Strong background in driving sales through social network channels.
- Strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives.
- Ability to work remotely with limited direction. BASE + COMMISSIONS BONUS. This is a semi-entrepreneurial with percentage equity opportunity with an emerging company. RELOCATION NOT REQUIRED.
