Overview:
Join the dynamic team with one of our prominant Newark, DE clients. This is a 1st Shift, with a schedule of Wednesday - Sunday, from 7:30am - 4:00pm! In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Accurately track and manage inventory levels, ensuring all products are accounted for.
Perform regular cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
Assist in receiving, storing, and distributing products within the warehouse.
Collaborate with team members to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.
Utilize inventory management software to update and maintain records.
Report any discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
A clean fingerprint criminal background clearance is required.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations is a must.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
