About the role
- Manage hospital-based OB/CNM patients during 24-hour call
- Perform obstetric triage and patient evaluation
- Manage labor and deliveries
- Discharge patients and provide postpartum care
- Provide after-hours secondary phone triage
- Perform surgical first assist for C-sections
- Collaborate with OB physicians, CNMs, and birth-center nursing staff
- ScheduleSix (6) 24-hour call shifts per month
- Additional shifts may be available
- Must remain within 20–30 minutes of the hospital
- Call/sleep room provided onsite
- Holiday availability required
- Preference for candidates with open availability
- Board Certified Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) – Required
- Active Washington State license – RequiredBLS – RequiredDEA – Required
- Strong OB/L&D experience
- Surgical first-assist experience – Required
- Clean background and malpractice history highly preferred
- New graduates are not eligible
