Lighthouse is seeking a passionate and dedicated ABA 1:1 Provider to support a student in a school setting in Queens. As a 1:1 Provider, you will work one-on-one with a child with autism or other special needs throughout the full school day (8:15 AM -- 2:15 PM, Monday--Friday), under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.. As you build a relationship with your student and their school team, your work will directly contribute to their growth, independence, and success in the classroom.. .Salary Range $95 per hour.
Responsibilities: Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Provide one-on-one support to an assigned student throughout the school day, following an individualized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. Support the student's participation in classroom instruction, transitions, lunch, recess, and other school routines. Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, academic readiness, and behavioral skills in the school environment. Implement behavior intervention plans and use positive reinforcement strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and promote independence. Collect data and track progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes. Collaborate with the BCBA, classroom teacher, and school staff to review progress, address concerns, and support consistency across settings. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of sessions, including progress notes and data collection. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in ABA therapy.

Requirements: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Education or be currently enrolled in a Master's in Education program. Availability Monday--Friday, 8:15 AM -- 2:15 PM.Previous experience in ABA therapy, special education, or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred, but not required.
