Job Description: Catholic Community of Ascension & St Augustine in Elkridge, Marylandare looking for a Student Minister for themiddle schoolers and high schoolers of the parish. This position is part time 19 hours a week, Mission statement: Bringing people to a growing relationship to love God, to love others, and to make disciples. You will work with the youth of the parish and help them growin a deeper relationship with Christ. Facilitate with fellowship, prayer, content, andsmall group discussion Curriculum is with Alpha and Sophia Teachers Recruit, train and support the youth leadershipteam and adult volunteers Build relationship with teens and their families Ensure all volunteers are Virtus or Worthy ofthe Call cleared according to Archdioceserequirements Twice a year to hold training of Worthyof the Call for the youth of the parish. Manage ministry calendars, budgets, registrations, and communications Utilize social media platforms tocommunicate with families Must be able to work day, evenings, andweekends Reports to Pastor and Director of Pastoral Operations Excellant communication, organizational, and leadership skills
