Ownership isn't just a title here — it's something you earn and carry forward.Your Job Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout design and construction phase activities while ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all project disciplines.Manage multi-discipline design teams including subconsultants and strategic partners.Establish and maintain project controls to track and measure project progress, issues, and performance. Ensure all project documentation is complete and organized.Ensure continuity through all project phases: RFP, design, bidding, permitting, and construction.Collaborate with clients to establish project schedules and deliverables.Set internal milestones and ensure the team is prepared to meet all deliverables, technical requirements, and schedules.Collaborate with design team on development of project work plans. Review and challenge work plans to maximize efficiency and proactively identify cross discipline coordination needs.Lead project progress and review meetings with client and design team.Develop and deploy project specific QA-QC plans and strategies.Ensure open coordination topics and project issues are resolved and documented accordingly.Proactively identify and solve problems.RequirementsYour Requirements and Qualifications: PLEASE NOTE: This is not a remote position. Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect or ability and determination to become licensed. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, from four-year college or university.Minimum 5+ years' experience in Engineering or Construction Management.Strong understanding of the mission critical industry and the nuances of renovation and greenfield construction projects is preferred.Must be available to travel occasionally.Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Salary range of $110,000 - $150,000+ and will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.Equal Employment Opportunity/Veteran/DisabilityNote to Staffing Firms: To protect the interests of all parties, Swanson Rink does not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from an applicant or from an approved vendor with a fully executed written agreement.
