As a Laundry Driver, you're the lifeline of the resort’s operations—delivering fresh linens to guest rooms, crisp napkins to restaurant tables, and clean towels to bustling kitchens. This behind-the-scenes role plays a huge part in the guest experience, keeping the resort running smoothly and efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES: Receives, sorts, and delivers clean and dirty linen to and from various linen closets and F&B venues. Performs inventory counts on received and delivered items. Follows company procedures and policies of vehicle use, chemical use, equipment usage, and cleaning routines. Daily inspections, cleaning and sanitizing of vehicles, machines, chemicals, and linens. Communicate with supervisors and other team members for service or technical updates, requests, or concerns.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age of 21 years is required to operate a commercial vehicle. Valid Driver’s License (not revoked or suspended) with fewer than three moving violations. A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested. Must obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card to operate a company vehicle. Must pass a pre-employment background check. Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princessis unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESAbility to prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. You must also have the ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, and supervise and manage staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards. Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
