About the role

Boeing Intelligence & Analyticssupports hybrid work (minimum 2 to 3 days onsite) for a Senior UI/UX Designer role across Annapolis Junction, MD , Washington, DC, orReston, VA. You will deliver workflow-driven design for an ecosystem of big data applications, translating complex requirements into end-to-end user experiences while keeping design consistency from documented workflows through final approved UI.
What You’ll Do:
  • Producecritical workflow-driven designsfor an ecosystem of big data apps in a collaborative environment.
  • Understand and document how the application works, then carry that understanding through tofinal approved designsto reduce gaps that can force developers to make independent UX decisions during implementation.
  • Translatecomplex business requirementsinto cohesive, end-to-end user experiences, partnering with product owners, stakeholders, and developers.
  • Documentuser workflowsand convert them intowireframesand final UI designs.
  • Design interconnected experiences that include bothadministrative functionalityandend-user workflows .Move fromlow-fidelity conceptsthroughhigh-fidelity, stakeholder-approveddesigns.
  • Create designs forcomplex, workflow-driven enterprise applications .What You Bring18 yearsof UI/UX Design or UI/UX Development experience in a highly related field with similar scope and responsibilities.
  • A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for4 yearsof experience; a Master’s degree may be substituted for6 yearsof experience.
  • TS/SCIwithactive CI Polygraph .Experience documenting user workflows and translating them into wireframes and final UI designs.
  • Ability to design complete, interconnected experiences, including administrative and end-user workflows.
  • Comfort moving from low-fidelity concepts to high-fidelity, stakeholder-approved designs.
  • Experience designing complex, workflow-driven enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency with
  • Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop on NIPR .Styling experience implementingSCSS/SASSandmicro-animationsfor user feedback.
  • Back-end awareness with
  • Java Web, NodeJS, or AWSenvironments.
  • Experience managing code via
  • GitLaband working in anAgile/Scrumframework.
  • Experience using
  • Web Socketsfor real-time data updates.

  • Compensation and Location
Salary range: USD184,000 - 237,600per year.
