About the role
This role is responsible for leading the design, development, validation, and release of BIW upper body sheet metal components throughout the vehicle lifecycle. The engineer will work closely with suppliers, manufacturing, stamping plants, and cross-functional teams to ensure components meet quality, performance, cost, and launch targets while utilizing NX, Teamcenter, and Stellantis release processes. The ideal candidate has experience with automotive sheet metal development, GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R, validation testing, supplier management, and supporting vehicles through production launch.
