Job Description: Craft Beer Sales Associate We’re looking for an outgoing, hardworking, and dependable team member to join our craft beer store! If you enjoy interacting with people, have an interest in craft beer, and take pride in providing great customer service, we’d love to hear from you. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment and is comfortable helping customers find the right beer for their tastes.
Responsibilities: Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service Assist customers with craft beer selections and recommendations Stock shelves, coolers, and displays and maintain an organized store Receive and organize inventory as needed Keep the sales floor clean, neat, and well-presented Help with opening and closing duties Follow store policies and alcohol sales regulations Work as part of a team to create a welcoming customer experience
Qualifications: Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable interacting with customers Dependable, hardworking, and punctual Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting/stocking merchandise Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus Working knowledge or enthusiasm for craft beer is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays Must meet all applicable legal requirements for selling alcohol
