About the role

Lifeguard Aeromed Inc, a premier provider of emergency medical services, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of EMS for our operations in Las Vegas. The Director of EMS will lead and oversee all aspects of our ground and air medical transport services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. LOCATION EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-time What You'll Do Provide strategic leadership and direction for all EMS operations, including ground and air medical transport services. Oversee the day-to-day management of EMS operations, including staffing, fleet management, and equipment maintenance. Develop and implement clinical protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure quality patient care and safety. Collaborate with medical directors, flight crews, ground EMS teams, and operational staff to optimize service delivery and patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices. Lead quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and performance evaluations to enhance operational efficiency and employee development. Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence within the EMS department. Manage budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation for EMS operations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Services, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred. State certification as a Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician. Previous experience in EMS leadership or management roles, with a strong background in both ground and air medical transport services. Proven track record of successful leadership, program development, and staff management. Knowledge of EMS regulations, quality assurance practices, and industry trends. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service excellence.
