Tax Principal – Real Estate New York, NY | Hybrid | $220K–$500K+Real Estate Tax | Principal / Partner Track | Leadership & GrowthA leading New York CPA firm is looking for an experienced Tax Principal to join and help lead its established Real Estate Tax practice. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone with deep real estate tax expertise who can combine technical credibility with client ownership, team leadership and business development. You will advise real estate developers, investors, funds and property businesses, leading complex tax engagements and helping grow the practice.
The opportunity: Lead complex real estate tax engagements Advise developers, investors and property groups on tax strategy Oversee partnership, corporate and real estate tax compliance Provide guidance on complex partnership and real estate tax matters Lead and develop senior tax professionals Own and expand key client relationships Identify and win new business Work alongside senior firm leadership on practice growth What they are looking for 15+ years of real estate tax experienceCPA, EA or Law License Deep real estate and partnership tax expertise Strong tax planning and compliance background Experience leading senior teams Proven client relationship management Demonstrable business development / practice-growth experience
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid
Compensation: $220K–$500K+ depending on experience, level and commercial track record This is particularly well suited to an established Tax Director, Managing Director, Principal or Partner-level Real Estate Tax professional looking for a long-term leadership opportunity within a major CPA firm.
