About the role

PorterThe Porter is tasked with various support functions aligned with Mechanical, Paint, Quality and Company Vehicle Operations. The Porter may move vehicles on public roads between locations or may also organize vehicles in lots on ground.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Parking lot organization of vehicles in accordance with lot numbering
  • Responsible for moving company vehicles to appropriate location
  • Responsible for fueling, vacuuming and cleaning/washing company vehicles
  • Perform physical inspections of used vehicles
  • Receive new vehicles inspection for damage, cleanliness, etc.
  • Assist in the exchange process of vehicles being dropped off or picked upReconciling vehicle shippers and recording VIN #'s to match with inventory system
  • Shuttle technical personnel between work locations
  • Filing of vehicle paperwork and other office tasks
  • Following all company policies relating to safe driving
  • Other duties deemed necessary by management
Position Qualifications:
  • Education HS diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent driving record (less than 4 points on driving record)
  • Able to drive a manual transmission (Preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Capable written and oral communication
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Other Requirements
Lifting Requirements: 5 25lbs
Activity Requirements: moderate to high level of physical activity
