Responsibilities: Select and identify tissue for microscopic examinationDescribe, measure, and dictate gross findings using appropriate terminologyGross specimens and biopsiesDetermine appropriate fixative and decalcification proceduresPhotograph specimens as appropriate for documentation and specific useWork within a high-volume pathology department handling approximately 200 cases per dayUtilize Epic and Cerner MillenniumRequired: Active New York State DOH Pathologists' Assistant LicenseMinimum 2 years of experienceAbility to gross specimens and biopsiesPreferred: ASCP certificationAbility to provide frozen section coverageInterested?
