SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER | STRUCTURAL STEEL Indianapolis, Indiana | In-office$135,000-$175,000 base Dependent on experience Permanent Lead complex structural steel projects and help develop the team delivering them. I'm recruiting for an established, AISC-certified structural steel fabricator working across hospitals, office buildings, schools, retail and industrial projects.
The Role: Oversee multiple steel fabrication and erection projects from contract award through completion Manage budgets, schedules, cost forecasts and contract requirements Coordinate detailing, fabrication and erection teams Review change orders, subcontractor agreements and progress billings Lead and mentor PMs, Assistant PMs and Project Coordinators Manage client relationships and resolve project issues What We're Looking For 10+ years of construction or engineering experience Structural steel experience is essential Proven experience managing complex projects and leading teamsA bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management Confidence reading drawings, specifications and contracts Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software experience Tekla and Bluebeam experience preferred The Package$135,000-$175,000 base salary Profit sharing of 10-15% of base, paid quarterly$700 monthly car allowance Medical, dental, vision and disability cover 401(k) with company match Company phonePTO negotiable Relocation assistance considered case by case Join a collaborative team with low turnover and an established structural steel project portfolio.
