About the role

The Role: You'll host live shopping streams on Whatnot from roughly midnight to 4 AM ET, showcasing our clips, claws, headbands, scrunchies, and more. You'll run auctions and flash sales and keep viewers entertained, engaged, and bidding. You're the face and energy of the show when everyone else is asleep.
What You'll Do:
  • Host high-energy live streams on Whatnot
  • Demo products on camera: try on pieces, show quick hairstyles, and explain materials and details
  • Run auctions, giveaways, and limited-time deals to drive sales
  • Chat with viewers in real time, answer questions, and build a loyal regular audience
  • Hit sales and engagement targets, and share feedback on what's moving
  • Help set up products and the stream area before going live
What We're Looking For:
  • Live-selling, hosting, or on-camera experience (Whatnot strongly preferred)
  • Natural, upbeat personality that stays sharp through an overnight shift
  • Comfortable talking nonstop and thinking on your feet
  • Hair styling skills or a genuine love of hair accessories
  • Reliable, punctual, and available for consistent late-night shifts
Bonus: an existing Whatnot following or experience with auction-style selling

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
