Fitness Floor Staff - Salem YMCAMake a Difference Through Fitness at the Salem YMCA!Are you passionate about wellness and ready to help others reach their goals? If you're someone who loves staying active and wants to inspire healthy living, we'd love to have you on our team! As Fitness Floor Staff, you'll support members and program participants in a welcoming and energized environment. Your day-to-day will include greeting members, keeping equipment clean and safe, demonstrating exercises and machines, and promoting additional fitness programs. You'll also give tours to prospective members and answer questions about our offerings—helping everyone feel supported and connected. We're looking for someone who: Has a solid understanding of fitness equipment and exercises Builds positive relationships with people of all ages and abilities Brings encouragement, energy, and a love for wellness Has strong customer service and de-escalation skills Join a mission-driven team that's committed to building a healthier, stronger community—one workout at a time!
Qualifications:
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Must maintain CPR, and First Aid certification
  • Personal Trainer Certification is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 45lbs and spot participants with heavy weights
