Warehouse Material Handler ONSITE – Lexington, KY Pay: $17/hour – Please note this pay rate may be below your state’s minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying. Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM until work is complete Clean desk policy: Employees are required to complete all assigned work before the end of each shift. End time may vary depending on daily workload.
About the role: As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will support daily warehouse operations by moving pallets and boxes between work locations, transporting materials using a box truck, and placing boxes in designated warehouse storage areas. This is a physically demanding role that requires continuous and repetitive lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the day. Candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable operating or learning to operate a pallet jack, driving a box truck, and climbing a short ladder to complete assigned work.
Key duties: Move pallets and materials using a pallet jack Load and transport materials by box truck to a nearby warehouse location Unload and place boxes weighing up to 50 pounds onto designated warehouse racks Perform continuously and repetitively throughout the workday Organize and move materials to assigned storage areas Safely climb a short ladder, approximately four steps, as required Follow established safety procedures while handling and transporting materials Complete assigned daily work accurately and efficiently
Requirements: We’re looking for dependable team members who are comfortable performing physically demanding work and can work safely and efficiently throughout the shift. To be successful in this role, you should have: Valid driver’s license Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday Ability and willingness to drive a box truck Ability and willingness to operate a pallet jack; training can be provided Ability to climb a short ladder, approximately four steps Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift Ability to work independently after completing training Dependable attendance and consistent punctuality Warehouse experience preferred Previous experience using a pallet jack preferred Ability to pass required background screening and drug test What you get Full-time employment Paid on-the-job training Health benefits for you and your family, including medical, dental, and vision, starting on day 1 Paid time off (PTO)
Additional information: Some flexibility with start times may be available after training This is a physically strenuous position involving large amounts of repetitive lifting each day Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
