- Develop accurate, competitive estimates while identifying opportunities to win work
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors
- Attend job walks and engage directly with customers to understand project needs
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to prepare detailed proposals
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Purchasing, and leadership to finalize bids
- Present proposals, answer client questions, and help position the company to secure projects
- Track market trends and pricing to stay competitive and drive revenue growth
- Support change orders and ongoing client communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Sales-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Confidence interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines
- Willingness to travel and engage with a diverse customer base
- Coachable, team-oriented, and motivated to grow
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with estimating, construction, or commercial roofing (preferred but not required)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Experience preparing proposals, bids, or client-facing documents is a plus
