About the role

Contracts Manager | Chicagoland area (remote based) We’re seeking a Contracts Manager to join a dynamic medical device manufacturing company and play a key role supporting the business through contract development, negotiation, and administration.
What you’ll do: Draft, review, redline, negotiate, and manage contracts from start to finish Work with internal teams and external partners on sales, pricing, consulting, distribution, GPO, IDN, NDA, and other commercial agreements Identify contractual risks and work with the Director to develop practical solutions Manage contract execution, renewals, amendments, and required documentation Maintain the company’s contract repository and ensure accurate tracking of key terms Manage Contract Works and Docu Sign processes Work closely with outside legal counsel Maintain contract templates and help improve contracts processes and efficiencies Partner with stakeholders across the organization and provide guidance on contracts processes
What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree required 3–5+ years of contracts/legal experience, ideally within an in-house legal or contracts department Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements Healthcare or medical device manufacturing is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities; focused on continual process improvement Process-oriented, proactive, and comfortable partnering with stakeholders at all levels Experience with a contract management systems This is a great opportunity for a hands-on contracts professional who enjoys being a business partner, not simply processing paperwork, and for someone that wants meaningful ownership of the contracts function.
Location: Chicago area preferred; fully remote based with minimal travel to a local office.
