About the role
Power Trader - US Financial Power Markets We are looking to hire an experienced Power Trader with a proven track record trading US financial power markets. This role is focused exclusively on financial power trading strategies, with direct PnL responsibility.
Requirements:
Demonstrable trading PnL track record:$1m annual PnL, or2x VaR, orStrong and consistent risk-adjusted returns / ROCExperience in financial US power markets, including one or more of:
- ICE / listed power futures
- VirtualsFTR / congestion trading
- Cash / term financials
- Strong knowledge of US ISO markets (ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, CAISO)
- Clear evidence of independent trading decision-making and risk ownership
- Strong analytical / quantitative trading approach
- PreferredExperience managing a standalone book or sub-book
- Background in prop trading, hedge fund, or energy trading environment
- Demonstrated ability to scale strategies in liquid or semi-liquid power markets
