In this role, the Senior Project Manager – E&F will play a vital role in managing one or multiple projects to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of care and satisfaction. You will leverage your expertise in building sciences or envelope design and consulting to solve complex problems and own every aspect of the project lifecycle. Additionally, this role will actively participate in client meetings and will be responsible for creating and maintaining excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.About The Candidate:Gardiner & Theobald is actively looking to welcome a Senior Project Manager to our Enclosures & Facades team. Has strong core values and is interested in working for a value-driven organization.If this sounds like you, and you believe you’d be a good fit, we strongly encourage you to apply!Key Responsibilities: Documentation development with improved quality and efficiencyManage multiple projects of varying complexitiesManage and perform all tasks required to deliver a project:Contract review and developmentCost estimate/report reviewIndustry benchmarkingEffectively develop documentation, including the following:RFP’sConstruction Project schedulesAction item matricesMeeting minutes and agendasParticipate in client presentations for new workComfortably and efficiently chair project meetingsKnowledge, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred5-10 years’ experience in construction, architecture, engineering, environmental science, or related fieldExperience managing/conducting Local Law-11/FISP workCertified Infrared Thermographer not required, but preferredWUFI or other hygrothermal analytics experience a plusTechnical or professional license not required, but preferredExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient in Microsoft SuiteExperience in Microsoft Project is a plusExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsDeep understanding of waterproofing, roofing, AVB, curtain wall & fenestration, opaque wall systemsExperience conducting Building Enclosure Commissioning tasks, certification preferredPhysical Requirements:Attend weekly project meetings on active construction sitesCore Competencies:Drives Results- Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstancesPlans and Aligns- Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organization goalsResourcefulness- Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficientlyManages Ambiguity- Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clearSituational Adaptability- Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
