Kearny, AZAbout the opportunity Turner Staffing Group is partnered with an established mining operation in Kearny, AZ, and is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to join their team. This role keeps the mine supplied with the parts, materials, and equipment it needs to run, making it an important part of keeping production on track.
What you'll do:
Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and packing slips, and report any discrepancies. Accurately enter receipts, issues, and transfers into the inventory management system. Issue parts, tools, and supplies to maintenance, operations, and other departments. Organize, label, and store materials in designated locations to keep the warehouse orderly and inventory easy to find. Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories to maintain accurate stock levels. Monitor stock levels and notify purchasing when items fall below reorder points. Prepare outgoing shipments, including returns, repairs, and core exchanges. Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely. Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation for warehouse transactions. Keep the warehouse and yard areas clean, safe, and compliant with MSHA regulations and site safety policies. What we're looking for[1–2+] years of warehouse, inventory, or materials handling experience, ideally in mining, construction, or another heavy industrial setting. Experience using an inventory management or ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with counts, part numbers, and data entry. Good organizational and communication skills. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Kearny site.
Preferred qualifications:
Current MSHA Part 48 training. Forklift certification. Familiarity with heavy equipment parts and mining-related supplies. Physical requirements and work environment Work in both indoor warehouse and outdoor yard areas, including high summer temperatures. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods. Ability to lift up to [50] pounds regularly. Work around forklifts, heavy equipment, and moving vehicles while wearing required PPE.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
