Responsibilities: Represent AEP Texas in proceedings before the Public Utility Commission. Provide strategic legal advice on business initiatives. Lead contract negotiations for major projects and provide strategic legal advice on business initiatives. Oversee compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements from agencies such as the FERC and state public utility commissions. Represent regulated subsidiaries in proceedings before federal or state regulatory agencies. Manage litigation processes and coordinate with outside legal counsel on significant disputes. Develop training and compliance programs for employees related to industry regulations and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of legal strategies with business objectives.
