Overview
Enpro is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to join their growing service team. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working independently, troubleshooting equipment, and providing hands-on service to customers in the field.
The technician will work within an assigned territory to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment while building strong customer relationships. Training will be provided for specific equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform field service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on industrial equipment including air compressors, air dryers, chemical pumps, radar level gauges, and related mechanical systems
Travel to customer sites within an assigned service territory
Diagnose equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance and repair work
Create and manage your own service schedule to efficiently serve customers in your territory
Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues, service recommendations, and solutions
Identify service opportunities and quote additional service or equipment when needed
Coordinate project planning, parts ordering, and scheduling for service work
Track and submit business expenses and service documentation
Use computers and Microsoft Office tools to stay organized and communicate with customers and management
Participate in on-call emergency service rotation when required
Follow all company safety policies and service department procedures
Qualifications
Experience as a Field Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Technician, Industrial Technician, or similar role
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and manage a service territory
Good organizational and time management skills
Basic proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
Strong customer service and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations
Experience working with compressors, pumps, industrial machinery, HVAC equipment, or mechanical systems is preferred but not required
Hourly pay plus commission on products sold and service work completed
Company-provided training and technical support
