Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 2-3 years of mechanical design experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong SolidWorks proficiency , a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities and projects frequently evolve. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of product development and manufacturing support initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative design solutions and improve production processes.
Key Responsibilities Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks .
Develop mechanical designs from concept through production while considering performance, manufacturability, cost, quality, and reliability.
Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and operations teams to support project objectives.
Manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining project schedules.
Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering change documentation, and technical reports.
Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
Provide day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing operations, assisting with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production-related issues.
Develop and implement design changes, engineering corrections, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production goals.
Assist in resolving design and manufacturing issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Effectively balance multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment while maintaining a strong focus on execution and results.
Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
2-3 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing support.
Strong proficiency with CAD, including part modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawing creation.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate across multiple departments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to travel internationally when required. Preferred SolidWorks Experience.
Familiarity with engineering change management processes.
Understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, injection molding, 3D-printing, stamping, and assembly.
Experience supporting prototype builds, product testing, and production implementation.
Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
