About the role

Provide maternal-fetal medicine consultation on-site and by telemedicine, including ultrasound interpretation and prenatal diagnostic amniocentesis. Develop urgent obstetrical care protocols, document services, support billing and medical records, coordinate perinatal care, attend clinical conferences, and supervise genetic counselors. Provide on-site obstetrical consultation and interpret ultrasounds. Provide tele-consultations and interpret ultrasounds through secure telemedicine. Offer on-call tele-consultation services for after-hours coverage. Provide traditional amniocentesis for prenatal diagnosis as needed. Document consultations and services and submit coded charge sheets. Coordinate perinatal care, attend clinical conferences, and supervise genetic counselors.
