Senior Estimator — Long Island, NYA well-established, Long Island construction firm known for delivering large-scale commercial projects, is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their growing team.The RoleYou'll take ownership of estimates from concept through award — analyzing plans and specs, soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and vendor pricing, and building accurate, competitive bids for complex, multi-million-dollar projects. You'll work closely with project executives, preconstruction, and operations to help win the right work at the right price.What You Bring- 10+ years of estimating experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects- Strong command of quantity takeoffs, cost databases, and estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Sage, Bluebeam)- Sharp analytical skills and an eye for risk, value engineering, and constructability- Excellent communication skills — you can defend a number in a room full of GCs, owners, and subs- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience (preferable)Why JoinCompetitive salary, benefits, and a real seat at the table at a firm who value estimators as trusted partners in winning and shaping projects.
