About the role
- Motorcycles of Charlotte is looking to hire a General Manager! The qualified candidate will be able to drive profitability, customer and teammate retention, grow the business, and have a passion for motorcycles.
- We are looking for someone who will: Oversee all dealership operational activities to ensure that they are performed efficiently
- Steer and manage the sales operation of new and pre-owned units
- Guide and develop your sales team by using your leadership skills and sales expertise
- Use your management skills to forecast and create sales, service, and parts objectives and goals
- Motivate your team to meet and exceed sales goals using open communication
- Develop your sales team by using your leadership skills to offer new and different sales techniques
- Communicate openly and consistently with your team and assess their needs
- Model superior customer service behavior and provide a world-class customer experience
- 3-5 years of experience within a motor vehicle or powersports dealership as General Manager or General Sales Manager
- Thorough knowledge of and experience with sales of powersports
- Proven track record of success managing teams
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills
- Knowledge and desire to develop a sales and service team
- Exceptional face to face communication skills, focused on a high standard of customer service
- Organized with superior time management skills and attention to detail
