About the role

Job Description: * Work directly with the Loan Collection Manager to coordinate collection workflow activities* Locate and identify responsible parties through multiple channels and resolve past due amounts by negotiating payments, payment arrangements or other delinquency curing transactions a borrower may be eligible for. * Identify reason(s) for delinquency.* Research history on current loans.* Educate borrowers and co-borrowers about their payment obligation and the terms of their loans. * Convey the consequences of non-payment to borrowers and co-borrowers. * Create financial, administrative, and maintenance transactions * Verify points of contact for borrowers and co-borrowers (addresses, phone numbers, email addresses). * Maintain an advanced working knowledge of lending products, services and collection practices* Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality* Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs* Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery FNBT is an equal opportunity employer.
